About Brick Breaker
Brick Breaker starts at level 1 with four rows of bricks and seven columns. Each new level adds another row, so the amount of board space covered by bricks steadily increases.
The top two rows are tougher and need two hits. Destroying a brick awards ten points, while clearing the complete field advances immediately to the next level.
How to Play Brick Breaker
1Move the paddle with mouse/touch or keyboard arrows.
2Tap/click or press Space to launch the ball when it is resting on the paddle.
3Keep returning the ball and destroy every brick.
4Clear the board to advance; avoid losing all three lives.

Brick Breaker Game Mechanics
Objective
Control the paddle, keep the ball in play and destroy every brick to advance through increasingly large levels.
Round End
Missing the ball removes one of three lives. The run ends when lives reach zero; clearing all bricks advances to the next level instead.
- Level N creates 3 + N rows and 7 columns of bricks.
- The top two brick rows require two hits; all later rows require one hit.
- Paddle contact changes horizontal ball velocity according to hit position, while total speed is capped at 6 + level.
- Score, lives and level are not persisted after reload.
Tips & Strategies
- Use off-center paddle hits to send the ball toward brick clusters that are still intact.
- Protect lives when only a few bricks remain; forcing an aggressive angle is less valuable than keeping the ball alive.
- Later levels raise the ball speed cap and add brick rows, so expect tighter reaction windows.
