Free Idle & Clicker Games – Tap, Upgrade and Grow
Start with manual income, passive production, management or merge growth, then reinvest resources into stronger output across six different progression systems.
Play Idle & Clicker Games
Choose a game by the mechanic you want rather than by a broad store category. Each title below has its own rules, scoring and long-tail search page.
Cookie Clicker
Play Cookie Clicker online with 7 upgrade types. Start at 1 cookie per click, buy passive CPS upgrades and double click power while costs scale by 1.15 per purchase.
Idle Miner
Play Idle Miner online with 6 upgrades for click and passive gold. Costs scale by 1.4 per owned upgrade and full mining progress is saved in localStorage.
Idle Factory
Play Idle Factory online with 5 automatic businesses. Machine costs scale by 1.35, income uses a global multiplier and $10K unlocks a Prestige reset with +0.5 multiplier.
Tap Tycoon
Play Tap Tycoon online: tap for cash, buy 8 upgrades, raise tap power and passive income, and manage costs that increase 15% per upgrade level.
Lemonade Stand
Play Lemonade Stand online with $20, 10 cups and changing weather. Buy 5 cups for $3, set prices from $0.5–$5 and upgrade recipes for $15 to influence daily demand.
Pet Merge
Play Pet Merge on a 5×5 board. Combine any two matching pets into a higher tier, earn exponentially larger merge scores, and add new pets to random empty cells.
What Are Idle & Clicker Games?
Idle and clicker games share an investment loop: earn a resource, spend it on higher production, then use the faster production to reach the next upgrade. But the six games here implement that loop differently—some reward tapping, some automate income, one uses day-by-day pricing, and Pet Merge converts matching board pieces into higher tiers.
Save behavior also differs and is documented per game. Idle Miner and Idle Factory persist detailed progress, Tap Tycoon and Pet Merge save selected records, while Cookie Clicker currently resets completely after reload.
Choose an Idle Game by Progression Loop
Manual click + passive CPS: Cookie Clicker
Start at 1 cookie per click, buy six passive producers plus a repeatable ×2 click-power upgrade, with costs scaling by 1.15.
Saved mining progression: Idle Miner
Combine three click upgrades and three per-second upgrades. Full gold, production and upgrade state is restored from localStorage.
Automatic businesses + Prestige: Idle Factory
Buy five businesses, grow Income/s and reset at $10K to gain +0.5 global multiplier per Prestige.
Tap income + 8 upgrades: Tap Tycoon
Tap for cash, build passive income across eight upgrades and track the highest cumulative income locally.
Day-by-day pricing management: Lemonade Stand
Manage $20 starting cash, cups, $0.5–$5 pricing, recipe upgrades and weather multipliers rather than continuous passive ticking.
Merge-based progression: Pet Merge
Combine equal pet tiers anywhere on a 5×5 board; higher tiers score exponentially more while new pets consume empty cells.
Different Idle Progression Loops
- Clicker loops trade active input for immediate currency, then use upgrades to make each future click or second more valuable.
- Idle production shifts the main decision from clicking to deciding which upgrade gives the best next income increase.
- Prestige systems deliberately reset short-term progress in exchange for a stronger multiplier on future rebuilding.
- Management and merge variants keep the same reinvestment idea but use daily demand or board space instead of pure currency-per-second growth.
